Whatever situation you’re in: divorce, isolation, maybe both (maybe more), it can be really hard to seek out the light.⠀

Trust me. I know. I was there. When my marriage ended, I fell to pieces. I wanted to give up. I suffered under the weight of grief for so long. Joy was the last thing on my mind. ⠀⠀⠀

And now I’m here. Isolated. Missing everything we all are missing. ⠀⠀⠀

In both situations though, it’s in your control to not only seek out joy in your life but to fight for it. ⠀⠀⠀

Start small. Take it day by day. Identify what will bring you joy TODAY and fight for that today. ⠀⠀⠀

If joy is writing anger-filled pages in your journal all about your ex, do it. ⠀⠀⠀
If joy is downing the whole bottle of wine, do it. ⠀⠀⠀
If joy is watching Netflix all day, do it. ⠀⠀⠀
If joy is decluttering, do it. ⠀⠀⠀
If joy is staying in bed all day, do it. ⠀⠀

There’s no judgement. ⠀⠀⠀
